July/ August “two weeks is not enough”
Superb holiday, excellent accommodation in an ideal setting 2 families
totalling 7 people, les m is easily nig enough, ample space, excellent
kitchen, well stocked with utensils etc, good shower
Outside, nice grassed areas for children, loads of room for cars,
excellent privacy. Amazing swimming pool, very private, endless fun,
steps in shallow end useful for 2,3,4 year olds, nice to parade around
the pool without fear of public view! Security via gate is brilliant to
ensure kids are accompanied, Les m is an absolute wildlife heaven so
for keen nature lovers and birdwatchers in the group it was sheer
bliss. Birdlife seen purely from the house totalled 42 different
species. Whilst visiting places on our fortnight we built up a list of
an amazing 135 species, just noting what we saw when visiting normal
places. For really keen birdwatchers, St Denis du Pyre is a brilliant
marshland reserve, also worth visiting Point sur L’Aguillion.
Recommended is a visit to Puy du Fou – near town of Les Herbiers, 48

stayed by the pool most of the week. Pool table is great, pool is
brilliant, kitchen VERY well equipped, lovely walks around the area and
romantic tumbledown buildings Octigans
Aug / September had lovely time by pool + sightseeing, went to
Futurosocope, well worth a visit, lots of simulated rides and IMAX

beautful weather when we arrived – 32 degrees! , les m very

House very well equipped and comfortable. wE found the roads
surrounding the house excellent for cycling. Recommend visits to
vouvant, boat trip and restaurants, venise verte for cycling and boat
trip; went from Maillezais. La Rochelle, nice and quiet on a Sunday

12 – 25 June
The gite was great, kitchen well equipped. Visited Puy du Fou very
enjoyable and well worth a visit; two days to see absolutely everything
but you can see the main events in a day
22 July – 5 August
Two excellent weeks in les M, lunch under the sweet chestnut and dinner
on the kitchen patio in the evenings. [Long list of visits, ending
with] “we prefer swimming and sunbathing in the peaceful surrounds at

It is just so peaceful on the patio, --the house is well equipped,
clean and in a friendly area; it is also well sited to explore the
Vendee whether you want coastal, exploration, theme parks or zoos to
fill your time, but it is peaceful and tranquil for those of you who
spend your life working and you just want to chill and relax. The

A very well equipped villa. Nice relaxing holiday. Proxi in the village
is very good for bits and pieces, also open Sunday am which is handy.
